Rev. Bill Seitz, PastorPastor Bill grew up in Oklahoma, but has always held a deep-felt love for the Sunflower State due to annual childhood visits to his grandparents' home in nearby Junction City. In those days he always wondered what he was going to be when he grew up. Though his interests were quite broad, there was one occupation he was absolutely certain he would never enter: the ministry. The fact that he is there now is, in his mind, the greatest testimony to the fact that God has a sense of humor ... and can transform lives. The University of Oklahoma was Pastor Bill's undergraduate alma mater; there he received a Bachelor of Social Work. Then, after being accosted by God's humor, he went on to the Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, serving a year as an intern in California and a summer as a Christian Minister in the National Parks, ultimately receiving a Master of Divinity degree. Since then he has served several hospitals in the Oklahoma City area and churches in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Ohio. Brenda Patterson, Administrative AssistantBrenda hails from Georgia, and has taught everyone in this church a few things about Southern hospitality. If you call or stop by during the week, Brenda will be the one to greet you with a smile. Dale Breymeyer, OrganistDale Breymeyer is a gifted organist who blesses us with his amazing talents on Sunday mornings. Dale is a Wamego native and K-5 music teacher for USD 501 in Topeka. He is known for his patriotic medleys. Lorinda and Bob Sultzer, CustodiansLorinda and Bob Sultzer keep our facility clean and organized for church services on Sundays, but they always go the extra mile by ensuring that the sanctuary and church entryway are beautifully decorated for every season—especially Christmas. Sarah Hancock, Choir DirectorSarah Hancock serves as the director of our adult choir. A mother of two sons and a science editor for the Kansas State University College of Agriculture Department of Communications, Sarah enjoys the release offered by sacred choral music as well as the company and talents of our church’s growing choir. Hannah Kientz, Nursery AttendantHannah Kientz is a native of Wamego and a K-State student. She also serves as the secretary of the PRAY mission board. Hannah offers children ages three and under a safe place to play in the church nursery during the Sunday School hour and service. |
